Associated Professor and Faculty Member of Esfarayen University of Technology Named Among World's Top 1% Most Cited Scientists for the Ninth Consecutive Year

As reported by the Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC), according to the latest results released in 2025 (1404), Dr. Mohammad Hatami, associate professor and faculty member of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, has been named among Iran's most cited researchers in the world's top 1% for the ninth consecutive year.

This remarkable achievement – being included in this prestigious global list for nine years in a row – demonstrates not only Dr. Hatami's exceptional and sustained scientific impact but also reflects the growing international standing of Esfarayen University of Technology. Such consistent recognition at the highest global level reinforces the university's reputation as a rising hub for world-class research in engineering and technology.

It is worth noting that top highly cited researchers are identified through an analysis of citation counts across 22 subject areas in the sciences and social sciences, based on data from the Web of Science database. Researchers who have received the highest number of citations over the past decade are placed in the world's top 1% most cited scientists.

The data for this latest report covers the period from November 2024 to September 2025 (Aban 1403 to Shahrivar 1404), during which a total of 1,142 Iranian researchers have been included in the global top 1% most cited list.
